Jello CakeThis cake is sooo simple and so refreshing I thought I'd share with ya'll. Slice some fresh strawberries and sprinkle with sugar. Bake a yellow or white sheet cake. Prepare strawberry flavored jello but leave in liquid form, do not allow to set up. Poke holes in baked caked and pour the jello over the top of the cake. Allow to cool thoroughly and then cover with whipped cream and layer the fresh strawberries on top. Refrigerate until time to eat because it's best when it's cold. When I don't have time to bake the cake, then I'll use an angel food cake from the bakery. I just rip it into portion sized hunks and put them in a big bowl. Then I pour the jello liquid over the hunks, pile on the whipped cream and strawberries and serve. Lemonade Pie1 8oz can frozen lemonade mix - concentrated 12oz Cool whip 1 can sweetened condensed milk 8" graham cracker pie crust
Pour lemonade and sweetened condensed milk in mixing bowl and mix thoroughly. Gently fold in the cool whip, you want it mixed but try to keep some of the 'fluffiness'. Pour into graham cracker pie crust. Sometimes there's more filling than will fit in the crust comfortably, then you pour the extra into small custard cups. Chill pie in the freezer for at least 2 hours. Serve right from freezer and store in freezer. |
