A Communication Spell

by Magi

I was searching online for something when I came across this spell:

Light a blue candle.
Write a personal, positive, and meaningful letter to someone you desire to contact.
Burn the letter in the candle flame (careful!).
As it burns, visualize the person's face and the goal or message you want to send.
Toss some thyme, yarrow, or cinnamon on the burned letter.
Concentrate on what manner you hope to receive their response.
Pick up the remains and scatter the ashes and herbs to the wind.
(Also: Do NOT attempt to use this spell to communicate with the dead

With the greatest respect to the author, here's my version (it is, of course, up to you which version you use):

Light a blue candle.
Write a personal, positive, and meaningful letter to someone you desire to contact.
Carefully fold the letter so that it fits in an envelope
Place the letter in the envelope
Carefully inscribe the person's name and address on the envelope making sure all details are correct (this is very important if the letter (sorry, spell) is going to work.
Put the letter in the envelope into a letter box, first making sure you have securely stuck a stamp for the correct postage in the top right hand corner of the envelope.
As you do so, concentrate on what manner you hope to receive their response.
If you want to you can toss some thyme, yarrow, or cinnamon in the post box too
(Also: Do NOT attempt to use this spell to communicate with the dead - they may no longer be at their old address)
