I’ve never been to a Christmas wedding before. They are really quite beautiful. The tables were done in silver and gold, with vases of poinsettas as centerpieces. They even had a huge Christmas tree in the corner of the reception hall, with gorgeous crystal ornaments. As wedding favors they gave out snowball ornaments and had little snowflakes on a stand for the place cards. Everything was exquisite. They had the best of the best in wedding cake toppers, and even their crystal champagne flutes and cake serving set was winter themed. It was one of the most awesome weddings and receptions I’ve ever been to. I may go online and plan our wedding and reception as a themed event, too. We plan on getting married next summer. Maybe I’ll go with a beach theme. A beach party reception sounds like a lot of fun.

I was looking for graduation party supplies online, and decided to check out other things they offer. There’s everything there for graduations, birthdays, christenings and even weddings. While I was looking at all the beautiful and unique wedding ideas, I ran across their wedding garters, and found that they also sell garters for proms. I showed my daughter what they had and she found a blue one with little white pearls shaped like flower petals attached to a little blue bow. She absolutely had to have it to go with her prom dress. So I ordered her one, and a few things for her graduation party, too. They really have some great ideas and much of their products are available at a discount. Great place to shop. I’m sure I’ll be back, I have another one graduating next year. Might as well get a head start on the planning.

My mom and I have planned the most gorgeous winter wonderland wedding and reception. There’s a place online that is the most awesome wedding and reception supply store. I ordered almost all my wedding accessories from there. They have some great bargains there too. It didn’t cost as much as I first anticipated. We ordered beautiful snowball place card holders that our guests could take home and use as christmas ornaments, lovely winter themed glass coasters for thank you gifts and my cake topper, which was a bride and groom skiing. That’s one of our favorite things to do together. We go skiing all the time. In fact we are spending our honeymoon in a very expensive ski lodge. So that was the perfect topper for us.
